at last :-)

Well October came and went!!! Lots of changes and things happening but it has taken me a little while to get into any sort of routine.

4th Oct saw me do my last demo for Docrafts at Huntingdon Garden & Leisure - had a really good day and saw lots of familiar faces.

9th Oct I was at the 3 Jolly Scrappers crop in Brampton - had a lovely evening catching up with Sharon but didn't get to finish anything!! too much chatting (that's so unlike me) hehe!

10th Oct was the Craftystash crop at Tempsford. The projects had been designed by Michelle Jackson-Mogford who was also on hand to offer some help - such a lovely lady and I hope I do more of her projects in the future. There was a total of 3 projects to make but I only completed this one. I will get the others made and will post photos once complete.

11th Oct was the all day workshop with Your Touch of Craft at Newmarket. I got to sit next to Lisa all day which was fab. The classes were taught by Annie Haffermann and Suezie Howard. There were 4 projects and one make and take and I still have them all to finish, but I know I will so am not stressing. Big news for anyone interested Amanda @ Your Touch of Craft has Donna Downey coming to teach for her next April in Bury - if you are interested contact Amanda asap as I know this is going to be very popular. I've got my name down :-)

12th October I started my new job and having been there for 3 weeks must tell you how happy I am. I'm back doing office work and loving every minute. I work 20 hours per week which is fitting in perfectly. Just taking me a little while to get into any routine but it's coming. It's been lovely having the family time at the weekends.

Last week was half term and Mark had the week off. This is the first time I've worked and Mark has been at home since before I had Lucy. Lucy's left all the pink behind and had her bedroom decorated. She's growing up sooooooooooo fast. Mark and I went to buy some light bulbs and I came home with a new car!!! I fell in love with the colour and after a test drive also fell in love with the car. I'm sure it will have it's own scrapbook page very soon.

Halloween arrived and this year I was really pleased to be out for the evening as I really don't like trick or treaters. Mark's mum and dad were celebrating 50 years of marriage that evening and it was lovely to catch up with everyone. I made them the following page which we framed (inspired by the layout I did at Tempsford) and a lovely guest took our family group photo.

back soon :-)
